Using the Cloud to Meet Your Mission

Last night I had the pleasure of chatting with a few fine folks of the nonprofit technology community about the joys and pains of cloud computing at the monthly 501TechNYC event. Our discussion followed NTEN’s day-long Nonprofit Cloud Computing Summit, which examined diferent ways nonprofits can work in The Cloud from organization-wide e-mail to document collaboration to remote access to your constituent database – without the need to host your own servers. Below is a recap of what we discussed at the event–courtesy of the content curating tool, Storify

Is your nonprofit in The Cloud? Have you thought about jumping in with Google Apps? Comment below and come to our next 501TechNYC event, Google for Nonprofits, on November 16 with Julio Alvarez from the Google Docs team.
