Heimish or chutzpahdik? Clarifying your nonprofit’s brand personality

Hosted by The Collaboratory

May 21, 2019 1:45 pm–May 21, 2019 3:15 pm

Does your event feel inviting or intimidating? Is your voice on social media friendly or formal? Are your email appeals passionate or provocative?

Your organization has a personality—a tone and style—that is reflected in how you present yourself and how people respond to you. Farra Trompeter, vice president of Big Duck, and Idit Klein, President & CEO of Keshet, will explain what having a “brand personality” means and how it can help your organization engage people and differentiate itself.

Participants in this session will:

  • Learn to identify and strengthen their organization’s personality—the unique tone, style, and attitude of their nonprofit
  • Understand the importance of maintaining the consistency of their personality across their organization
  • Be able to apply a framework for implementing their organization’s personality in their communications efforts
