Modern donors are looking to the causes they care about to provide a “customer experience” (CX) that is akin to how they interact with their favorite for-profit brands. In the past few years, companies have moved beyond a multichannel approach to creating omnichannel experiences with new, digital touchpoints such as personalized messaging and chat, social advertising, in-context SMS interactions, bot interactions, and screenless, voice-based technology.
Nonprofits can offer these kinds of omnichannel experiences to their supporters, too.
